29 very strong minutes, made into a film by Chris Marker in 1962. I return to this film every now and then. It always leaves me very inspired and moved. The film is built up on photo stills only except from one moving frame. The story deals with a man marked by an image from his childhood. It also deals with our present and questioning if the past or the future is what keeps it alive. This is a must see.
